Pair of Stilnovo style wall sconces, 1950s, France

Beautiful pair of mid-century wall sconces, probably from the 1950s and in style of Stilnovo, known for its iconic Mid-Century Modern Italian lighting design. Originating from France.

Each sconce has a cylindrical white opaline glass shade that softly diffuses light for a warm, ambient glow. The glass shades are held by slim blck metal frames and brass elements.  The sconces are mounted on a round wall mounting plate, adding a practical yet stylish element. Together, these materials and design elements reflect the Mid-Century Italian focus on functional yet decorative lighting, making these sconces versatile for various interiors.

In a good vintage condition. Brass parts have patina as shown on the images.
