Color woodcut on paper entitled ‘Amina et les esclaves’ from 1955 is an expressive print by the Dutch artist Kees van Dongen (1877–1968). The image is an illustration from the ‘Contes des Mille et Une Nuits’, and shows in bright contrasting colors a reclining naked woman surrounded by four figures, two of whom are wearing a military uniform.
