Vintage wooden desk or (dining) table, extendable, 1960s, Czech Republic.

The table is attributed to Jiri Jiroutek or Frantisêk Jirák as it shown many characteristics of other known designs of them.

This table though has a nice sort of organically shaped “shelf” underneath the table top where paper, magazines etc. can be placed. Nicely made with woven cane/webbing within the wooden frame.

The table top can be opened so its top becomes twice as wide for it to serve as a dining table or larger desk.

It is a multi-purpose table which could be the perfect match for a smaller living area.
