Set of Bauhaus, cantilever armchairs, model J-2, design Jan Schröfer, The Netherlands, 1936

A not so easy to find set of cantilever armchairs, known as model J-2, designed by Jan Schröfer; the founder of the dutch company De Cirkel in the 1930s.

The chairs have a wooden backrest and a chrome tubular frame. Seat is upholstered which has been renewed by its previous owner.

A striking chair with a lot of character, comfortable seating.

Set is in a good vintage condition considering its age.
