‘Plona’ chair, Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli, Italy, 1970s
€650,00
Plona chair, designed by Giancarlo Piretti in 1970 and produced by Castelli. This iconic piece of Italian design is characterized by its polished aluminum frame and transparent Plexiglas seat, giving it a lightweight, futuristic, and timeless aesthetic. Thanks to his work with Castelli, Giancarlo Piretti won numerous awards, including the Compasso d’Oro in 1971 (for the Plia chair), and positioned the brand as a global leader in designer furniture.
The frame has some small cracks but does not have an effect on the solidness of the chair. The frame shows some signs of wear. It misses one of its four protectors. See all images for a good impression.
