Bauhaus, Gispen/Tubax style easy chair, 1940s

Beautiful original Bauhais style easy chair. Designer/manufacturer unknown to me unfortunately but look slike designs from Tubax and Gispen. Chair has a chromed metal tubular frame and cushions on seat and in backrest. Upholstery has been renewed in the past with fabric similar to what was original used on the chairs. Its original owner bought the chairs in 1948 (3 pieces available). Chairs are heavy quality chairs, very solid and comfortable. Frames are considering their age in a good condition, some wear on the chrome. Additional images can of course be provided on request.
