Large work by Tibetan thanka painter, Tashi Norbu

Special, unique and large work by artist Tashi Norbu. Tashi Norbu is of Tibetan descent (born in 1974) and has Belgian nationality.

Since 2007 he has been living in the Netherlands, living and working in Emmen, where there is also a museum where his work is shown. Norbu was trained as a traditional Tibetan thanka painter.

In his work you can see stories about Buddha and Buddhist philosophy. He combines his work with Western ideas and time icons.

He is often in New York where he had several expostions among others in the Queens Museum.
