Antique ‘Tilt Top’ table or ‘Klaptafel’, The Netherlands, 1st half 20th century

Great authentic “Drentse or Staphorster Klaptafel”, Tilt Top table. These tables were invented in times when people lived in small houses and where it was very convenient to be able to fold the table top and put it aside. Nowadays it is a real eye-catcher as a large side table or dining table. Nice is its old green lacker and red edge  Beautiful detail is thewooden handle fixed to one of the legs for the lifting mechanism.
