Cantilever chair, model S 533,design Mies van der Rohe for Thonet, Germany

Beautifull design-icon and very comfortable chair. Designed by the renowned German-American designer Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927. Van der Rohe is known to be one of the most important pioneers in modernistic architecture. As last director of the Bauhaus, he also designed many furniture pieces which almost all became looked upon as design classics.

This chair is a later edition manufactured by Thonet. Its frame is made of chromed steel. Seat and backrest made of strong net weave fabric in a black color.

The condition is great, as new.
