Coffee, side table model T24, design Peter Ghyczy, 1970s

Beautiful coffee or side table, known as model T24 from the ‘Pioneer Series’ by Peter Ghyczy (German designer, born in Budapest in 1940). The Pioneer Series is characterized by the new way of fixing the thick glass to metal which is exemplified particularly through the delicate, floating appearance of the frameless glass. The technique he used has since become Ghyczy’s signature.  Its brass base holds the Ghyczy brand mark.

The table is in a good vintage condition with some minor signs of usage such as some light scrathes on its glass top.
