Dutch design table lamp, ‘zonneserie’ (‘Sun series’) designed by Herman Busquet for Hala Zeist, 1950s

H. Busquet often used simplified form and primary color palette to create functional and playful designs.

The blue of the outer part of the shade has been lackered and has wear as you can see on the images. It gives the lamp an industrial look & ffeel, which I personally, find interesting.

The shade consists of two conical elements, the outer part can be rotaed creating various diffused light effects.
