Wonderful easy chair designed by Frits Schlegel and produced by Fritz Hansen, Denmark, c. 1930s.
Frame of dark-stained beech, seat and backrest of papercord.
Frits Schlegel was a renown Danish architect and designer. Inspired by the Bauhaus movement, besides being a successful architect, he also designed, from the 1930s onwards, a number of furniture lines.
Its frame has obtained a nice patina over the years. Papercord is in a good condition: see all images for a good impression.
