Great set of McGuire Directors chairs, designed by Leonard Linden c1950s – USA.

Solid oak frame with rattan and brass detailing and brown leather slung seat and back.

Designed for John & Elinor McGuire for the McGuire Furniture company San Francisco in the late 1950s. Superbly crafted with the oak frames giving the effect of bamboo with rattan detailing. The brass details add to their decorative appeal. These chairs will fold and collapse if required. High quality soft leather has been used for the seat and backrest.

The chairs are in a good vintage condition with signs of usage matching its age. See all images.
