Original set of “circle” chairs, G.ES.SE.F Italy, 1950s

Beautiful set from the late 50s. Design attributed to Yngve Ekström (Swedish designer). This set has a label underneath from G.ES.SE.F (Gruppo de Esportatori della Sedia Fruilana (Group of exporters of the Friulian chair / from the region of Friuli).

Its frames have the form of a circle where the chairs are named after, a spindled back and tappered legs. Wooden frame is green polished/lackered which has faded on some parts over the years. This gives a beautiful effect. The fabric of its seat and head rest is yellow, mustard kind of color. Chairs are in a good condition especially considering its age. Fabric has some minor stains if you look carefull but not disturbing. See all images for a good impression.
