Portrait of a woman, verso: resting boys , oil on board, signed Arnout Colnot
Price on request
Beautiful painting of a woman sitting down, hands folded and resting in her lap.
Thick on paint.
Signed in the right lower corner A. Colnot, Arnout Colnot (1887 – 1983). Not dated but probably from the 1950s.
The backside, verso, shows also a very attractive artwork of two boys resting after I believe, a boxing game.
Wonderful colours and setting. This work is unfinished it seems as has text and scratched on it. However, this makes it also interesting..
It is unsigned, could be from Colnot as well.
Dimensions including frame: 116 x 91 x 3 cm – excluding frame: 97 x 73 cm
