Rare foldable armchair, Gebrüder Thonet, Austria, end 19th – early 20th century

Rare easy armchair, foldable. Gebrüder Thonet,  Austria, late 19th – early 20th century.
Represented in the Gebrüder Thonet catalogue from early 1900s.

The chair has a high bentback backrest. Seat and back have cane webbing, very well done and in great condition.
Chair has signs of wear and usage and old woodworm holes. This has been treated so not active since a long time.

Cannot find a lable but this might have been underneath the footrest with originally was part of this chair. Thonet offered this foldable chair woth or without footrest.
