Rare set of 4 Auping cantilever chairs, 1930-1950s

Rare and unique set of 4 cantilever chairs from Auping, Dutch design from between 1930s-50s. Its design is most probably from one of the following designers who designed for Auping in this period: Ben van Reynsdorp, Dick Cordemeijer, Wim Rietveld , Friso Kramer. A photo is included of the chair from the Historic Centre of the Province of Overijssel.

The chairs are in a solid, good condition. The thick leather is still very strong and not damaged. It does have stains as you can see on the images, although this also gives it character. Back and seat are tightened together with a leather piece of rope.
