Vintage design table lamp model “Cobra”, design Harvey Guzzini for Guzzini, Italy 1960s

An eye-catching table lamp, model “Cobra”, designed by Harvey Guzzini and manufactured by Guzzini in Italy around 1960.

The piece is made of black and white perspex, a material that is iconic for Guzzini’s style and which characterises  mid-century Italian design.

A chrome plated metal arm separates the black perspex base from its white shade. Gives a nice diffused light. Depending on the warmth and intesity of the bulb you choose, it gives a more modern, white light or a bit more yellowish, warm light. As you prefer…

The lamp remains in a very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. shade has one small spot of wear on its shade .  If faced to the wall, it is of course not visible.  See all images for a good impression.
