Wim Rietveld, Pyramid chair, 1950s, Dutch design icon

Great, original Pyramid chair designed in 1959 by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend de Cirkel. This chair is stamped ‘1962’, so an early one. This chair is a real collectors’s item as they are  becoming a rare find nowadays. The chair is in a used but original, unrestored condition which at the same time gives it a robust and industrial look and feel. Black steel frame, lackered plywood seat and backrest.
